OK, now I'm going to get some flack here. I just got down telling people I don't like to conflate characters based on Same Actor Theory, but I'm going to do it here, but it really makes sense to do so here, and I will do my best to make it work.
September 1963--THE CHIPMUNKS--"The C-Team"--Mr. T meets the Chipmunks. Note that first off, the Chipmunks aren't immortal, so this takes place just a few years after their debut. They are however mutants. Note that in the recent feature film that tells the origin, the world is shocked at the existence of talking Chipmunks.
1964--THE A-TEAM (FILM PRELUDE)--Hannibal and Face are on a mission in Mexico where they end up over their heads. Luckily, Hannibal finds an Army Airborne Ranger (recently discharged) named B.A. Barracus who helps them out. They find a guy in a mental hospital named Murdoch who was once known as the Army's best helicopter pilot. They break him out and he aids them. His crazy flying almost knocks B.A. out of the plane, mentally scarring him into fearing flying for the rest of his life.
1965--THE A-TEAM: WAR STORIES--Though these stories take place as a prequel to the movies, I'm placing them here. The stories basic ideas are still pretty much the same, just replace the middle east with southeast Asia. The team have met as seen in the beginning of the movie but they didn't start working together right away after that. They have done their separate ways. Hannibal kidnaps a scientist aiding the enemy. Face is trying to get an expensive Motorcycle in the middle of a war zone. B.A. has a mission in which he has to deal with his new fear of flying. Murdock's story might not be true, as he tells it himself, and he's quite mad.
1972--THE A-TEAM (FILM)--"In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The A-Team." The film is certainly the prequel to the series, even though it is set in modern days. Simply replace the dessert with the jungle, and ignore cell phones and laptops, and there you go.
1974--THE A-TEAM: SHOTGUN WEDDING--This story could take place anytime after they were framed and went on the run. But why not place it during their untold years? So I arbitrarily placed it two years into their time as mercenaries. One of B.A.'s old pals has a daughter getting married on a cruise ship, but her life is in danger, so the team goes undercover as cruise personnel.
1980--BLUES BROTHERS--The A-Team is on a mission in Chicago, as evidenced by B.A.'s appearance on the street. This brings in THE BLUES BROTHERS, THE BLUES BROTHERS 2000, the SNL sketches, and any other appearance of the duo. Though most sketch comedy takes place in Skitlandia, some are pulled into other realities through crossovers. Note Ms. Swan on MAD TV is in the Bongo Universe from her appearance on FAMILY GUY. WAYNE'S WORLD is likely in the DC Universe because of the connection to TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY. And there are some others as well.
1980--LOU RAWLS PARADE OF STARS--B.A. begins using the alter ego of Mr. T. It may seem ridiculous that a guy in hiding would go around being a celebrity, going on TV, doing professional boxing and wrestling, and even later coaching the U.S. Gymnastics Team. But it's part of the team's plan to hide in plain sight. Hannibal stars in movies (always as a monster). Face hangs out with high society. Murdoch stays in mental hospitals when he's not on missions. And B.A., as Mr. T, has become a celebrity so much so that the government thinks it can't possibly be B.A., because nobody would be that bold. Well, I pity the fool who thinks they can outsmart B.A.
October 31, 1980--GAMES PEOPLE PLAY--Mr. T is in an arm-wrestling competition.
1981 to 1983--GREATEST AMERICAN HERO--This is the only crossover link for this show, so I'm going to talk about it a little. Teacher Ralph Hinkley is given a super-suit by aliens. The suit only works for Ralph and gives him super powers much like Superman. The suit comes with instructions which Ralph loses. Ralph works with Bill Maxwell, which is what the aliens want. This show is a perfect example of how I feel super-heroes operate in the TVCU. Here, he is running around in a red costume and a cape, flying and crashing through things, but only Maxwell and Ralph's girlfriend know about him and the suit. Sure, sometimes people see him in public, but they just think he's a nut job. And yes, the criminals see it, and sometimes they keep quiet out of fear of being though crazy. And when they do talk, that's usually what happens. In the final episode, Ralph is forced to give the suit to a woman who continues using it to fight crime.
1982--ROCKY III--Under the alias of Clubber Lang, B.A. beats Rocky Balboa and wins the championship, though a short time later, Rocky wins it back. Note that Rocky is also in the Army Reserves, where he trains members of G.I. Joe in boxing skills.
1982--BRAVE AND THE BOLD: THE LOST ISSUES--B.A. fights the Thing. See http://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2011/02/thing-and-mr-t.html
1982--YOUNG DOCTORS IN LOVE--This is the story of doctors in a hospital. B.A. appears, meaning the A-Team must be in town on a case.
1982--INSPECTOR GADGET--Mr. Roarke's midget assistant Tattoo is attending a Minions Anonymous meeting. Inspector Clouseau's Cato is also attending, as is Mr. T.
April 1982--GREATEST AMERICAN HERO--"Captain Bellybuster and the Speed Factory"--Hamburger Haven is a fast food franchise whose mascot is Captain Bellybuster. But the company is trafficking drugs. Ralph gets help from the actor who plays Captain Bellybuster to take down the drug ring. Captain Bellybuster at the end decides he can't work for Hamburger Haven anymore.
1982--ONE TO GROW ON--Mr. T is recruited to do a public service announcement aimed at kids.
1982--TWILIGHT THEATER--Mr. T meets Pee-Wee Herman.
1982--PENITENTIARY II--An ex-con gets out of prison and tries to live a clean life, including returning to boxing. Mr. T has at this point entered into the world of boxing again and is part of this story.
July 7, 1982--LATE NIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN--Boxer Mr. T appears.
October 1982--SILVER SPOONS--"Me and Mr. T"--Mr. T is hired to be Ricky's bodyguard.
October 2, 1982--SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE--Mr. T appears. (Not Skitlandia, since it's actually Mr. T appearing as Mr. T.)
1983--D.C. CAB--The A-Team must be on a case, because B.A. is undercover as a cab driver named Samson.
1983 to 1987--THE A-TEAM--Four former Special Forces members who were framed remain on the run while working as mercenaries for hire, but only when the cause it just. Eventually they get captured, and put to work for the government. The team's adventures are also adapted as comics in LOOK-IN and TV COMIC. There were also several novels.
January 1983--JUST MEN--Mr. T appears.
1983--THE 9TH ANNUAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS--Mr. T appears.
1983--BATTLE OF THE NETWORK STARS XIV--Mr. T participates.
1983--NBC SATURDAY MORNING PREVIEW: THE YUMMY AWARDS--Mr. T wins an award for his work with the U.S. Gymnastics Team.
April 1983--THE A-TEAM--"Till Death Do Us Part"--The team grab food at Hamburger Haven, and Murdoch gets a Captain Bellybuster hat which inspires him to act like the franchise mascot for the remainder of their current mission, driving B.A. nuts. We can only assume the company changed hands when the old owner was arrested, and the new owners convinced the actor to stay or (since the actor doesn't appear), they got a new actor to play the character, since they probably own the rights to the character, not the actor.
1983 to 1985--MISTER T--Mr. T coaches the U.S. Gymnastics Team. It's my belief that all along, General Stockwell was using his influence to help the team keep themselves from capture, even without the A-Team knowing they were being helped. They just figured they were that good.
1983--THE 35TH ANNUAL EMMY AWARDS--Mr. T appears.
1983--THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO: THE FAN SERIES--Ralph and Bill continue to fight crime.
October 1983--DIFF'RENT STROKES--"Mr. T and mr. t"--OK, here's the plot as seen on TV. The A-Team show is being filmed outside Arnold's building. The girl he likes has taken a liking to Mr. T, so to impress her, Arnold shaves his head into a mohawk. Now, what I say happened in the TVCU: The A-Team are working undercover in New York in Arnold's neighborhood. Arnold's crush takes a liking to B.A., using his Mr. T persona. Arnold shaves his head into a mohawk. Then later off screen, there is helicopters, machine guns, and explosions.
1983--BATTLE OF THE NETWORK STARS XV--Mr. T participates.
1984--BRAVE AND THE BOLD: THE LOST ISSUES--Ralph Hinckley seeks training from Ben Grimm. See http://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2011/05/thing-and-greatest-american-hero.html.
1984--THE TOUGHEST MAN IN THE WORLD--B.A. is undercover as a bouncer (likely on an A-Team mission) using the alias of Bruise Brubaker. However, he gets sidetracked from the mission to help a bunch of kids. (His soft spot.)
1984--BE SOMEBODY...OR BE SOMEBODY'S FOOL!--Mr. T raps and break dances to teach kids good values. (Hey, I did include the Elmo potty training video, too.)
1984--DEAN MARTIN CELEBRITY ROAST: MR. T--Dean Martin, former Howling Commando and misadventurer hosts a roast of boxer and gymnastics coach Mr. T.
1984--HET-A-TEAM IN NEDERLAND--The A-Team go on a dangerous mission in the Netherlands where they actually have to flee.
1984--THE SECRET WORLD OF THE VERY YOUNG--Mr. T talks to pre-schoolers.
March 1984--THE A-TEAM (MARVEL COMICS) # 1 TO 3--I used to own this series but I can't recall the plot. I'm sure there where helicopters, machine guns, and explosions.
March 1984 to March 1986--WWF CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING--Mr. T has a career as a professional wrestler in a world where wrestling is real.
October 27, 1984--SOUL TRAIN--Sports celebrity Mr. T appears.
October 1984--WORLD PRO WRESTLING--Mr. T appears as a wrestler.
March 30, 1985--SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE--Boxer Mr. T and wrestler Hulk Hogan (old war buddies) host SNL.
March 1985--WRESTLEMANIA--Hulk Hogan and Mr. T are a tag team against Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper.
1985--BOB HOPE BUYS NBC?--And thus owned Mr. T?
1985--37TH ANNUAL EMMY AWARDS--Mr. T appears.
May 1985--THE A-TEAM--"Incident at Crystal Lake"--All the action takes place at or around Crystal Lake. There's nothing to really contradict it being that Crystal Lake.
November 1985--THE A-TEAM--"Body Slam"--This episode reveals that Hulk Hogan fought in Vietnam and was friends with B.A. Note that I feel this a crossover that brings in the WWF. Wrestling is fake, and thus it's fiction. So in the TVCU, it's all real.
January 1986--THE A-TEAM--"Wheel of Fortune"--Using Face's theory of how to win, Murdoch wins big on Wheel of Fortune including a car and a Hawaiian vacation for two. Murdock then takes off with a hottie rather than taking Face. (Murdock even breaks out of the mental hospital to do so.) Face convinces the team that Murdock was kidnapped so they will track him down. There's also real bad guys in this one, though it sounds more like a sitcom plot.
1986--THE GREATEST AMERICAN HEROINE--Ralph's secret identity is revealed and he becomes a celebrity, which goes to his head. Thus the aliens take the suit from him and give it to a woman who trains under Bill and uses her powers to do exciting things like rescue kittens. I'm sure the aliens found a way to discredit Ralph (and maybe Bill helped) so that it turned out the public thought it was all a hoax. Note in July 2008 it was announced that there will be a GAH comic, but I don't know when it will be placed. Also note there is a GAH fan page on Facebook, and the actor William Katt is one of the admins. This actually works with Ralph's celebrity. Ralph would still try to keep his fame alive by having his own Facebook page.
February 1986--THE A-TEAM--"Cowboy George"--The team meet Boy George.
February 1986--SEINFELD--"The Susie"--The series events actually take place before the show aired, thus it's placement here. George Constanza has an answering machine message that spoofs the theme to the Greatest American Hero. Just a month earlier, Ralph went public. However, that song was a hit in 1981, even in the TVCU. Likely though, the song was played at press conferences and appearances, thus Ralph and the song were linked publicly.
March 1, 1986--SATURDAY NIGHT'S MAIN EVENT--Mr. T is ringside.
March 1986--THE A-TEAM--"The Trouble with Harry"--Hulk Hogan tags along on a mission.
April 1986--WRESTLEMANIA 2--Mr. T goes up against Roddy Piper in a boxing match.
September 1986--THE A-TEAM--"Season Five"--The team is finally captured, tried, convicted, and sentenced to death. But their deaths are faked and the team is forced to now work for the government...doing exactly what they had been doing for years, helping out people in need.
November 1986--THE A-TEAM--"The Crystal Skull"--The team find a crystal skull in Australia that brings them bad luck.
1987--4TH ANNUAL BLACK GOLD AWARDS--He's black and wears a lot of gold. Of course Mr. T should win an award for that. (Actually, I don't know what kind of award show this is.)
June to August 1987--WWF SUPERSTARS--Mr. T is still a wrestler.
January 1988 to May 1989--THE NEW HOLLYWOOD SQUARES--No longer wanted, and a famous wrestler and boxer, it's only natural he would be on this show.
1988--LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN--"1988, America"--When war-hero-turned-handyman Kesuke Miyagi is found drained of blood, it becomes clear that the occult gang known as the Lost Boys are targeting the only individuals that can stop them from complete domination of America. It's the perfect case for the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen--except that their government contact, Oscar Goldman, disbanded the team in 1979 after they defeated Mr. Han's army of the living dead.
Now, disgraced scientist Emmet Brown has to put together a new team to combat the growing threat of the Lost Boys and their leader, a newly resurrected vampire kingpin Tony Montana: Transportation specialist Jack Burton, ex-commando B.A. Baracus, tech wizard Angus MacGyver and the mysteriously powerful femme fatale known only as "Lisa." But will Brown be able to stop the Lost Boys before time runs out?

This was a April Fool's Day joke that got lots of us very excited when we thought it was real. However, it is real enough for the TVCU. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was a graphic novel which appears in Crossovers. Note only the first two volumes (and this) are in the TVCU. Kesuke Miyagi is from THE KARATE KID. Thus this brings in the whole film series. THE LOST BOYS is from a series of films, which are now brought in. (Some have suggested the town of those films is really Sunnydale.) Oscar Goldman is from CHARLIE'S ANGELS, which is already in. Mr. Han is from FAST TIMES AS RIDGEMONT HIGH, bringing that film in. Emmet Brown is from BACK TO THE FUTURE, which is already in. Tony Montana is from SCARFACE, bringing that film in. Jack Burton is from BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA, which is in Crossovers. Angus MacGyver is from MACGYVER, which bring in this series, and MACGRUBER. We know where B.A. Baracus is from, I hope by now. Lisa is from WEIRD SCIENCE. This is the film version, which confirms Shermer, IL in the TVCU (thus confirming Jay and Silent Bob are not.) The TV Lisa is in the Bongo Universe.
Pictures of former League members....Top Left is Jill Monroe from CHARLIE'S ANGELS. I don't know who the guy top center is. Help please? Top right is Rocky Balboa from the ROCKY FILMS. Bottom left is John Shaft from SHAFT. Bottom middle is the Bandit from SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT. Bottom right is Colt Seaver from the FALL GUY.

1988 to 1990--T. AND T.--B.A. is using the name of T.S. Turner, as a boxer. He is accused of murder, but attorney Amanda Taler gets him off. B.A., as T.S., then becomes a private eye.
1989--WWF: WRESTLEMANIA'S GREATEST MATCHES--Mr. T appears to discuss and introduce his matches.
July 6, 1989--ARSENIO HALL SHOW--Mr. T appears. By now, B.A. is no longer wanted, but he uses his celebrity status as a cover as he works for the government, much like Austin Powers and the Jonas Brothers, for example.
1990--STRAIGHT LINE--B.A. is undercover as T.S. (Too Strong) Turner. (Did I mention B.A. stands for Bad Attitude?) He takes on a local street gang.
September 1990--BRAVE AND THE BOLD...THE LOST ISSUES--Batman III (Bruce Wayne Junior) and Mr. T. See http://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2010/09/mr-t.html
October 1990--OUT OF THIS WORLD--"New Kid on the Block"--Mr. T makes and appearance in this show about a girl who is half alien.
1991--RODNEY DANGERFIELD'S THE REALLY BIG SHOW--Rodney tries to get Mr.T to appear on his show, but Mr. T declines.
December 6, 1991--THE WORD--Mr. T appears.
December 25, 1992--SLEAZEMANIA ON PARADE--Mr. T appears in a Christmas parade.
1993--FREAKED--B.A. infiltrates a farm where a scientist is conducting experiments on people mutated by nuclear waste. He poses as a bearded lady.
December 31, 1993--EL GRAN JUEGO DE LA OCA--Mr. T appears.
February 1994--BLOSSOM--"A Little Help From My Friends"--Not sure the plot but Mr. T appears. Blossom is already in from the Earth Day Special.
July 1994--WCW BASH AT THE BEACH--More wresting appearances.
October 1994--HALLOWEEN HAVOC--Mr. T is a special guest referee at a wrestling match.
December 1994--STARRCADE--Mr. T wrestles Kevin Sullivan.
1995--THE MAGIC OF THE GOLDEN BEAR: GOLDY III--B.A. is posing as a mysterious woodsman named Freedom when he once again gets pulled into the Looniverse.
1995--KIDS AGAINST CRIME--Mr. T and Hulk Hogan preach the good path. And then they probably leave to go beat people up.
January 1996 to February 2002--HOWARD STERN--Mr. T appears four times, and it's clear Howard and Mr. T are friends.
1996--SPY HARD--B.A. has finally gotten over his fear of flying and got his helicopter pilot's licence as he assists agent W.D. 40 on a mission for the government.
October 1996--SUDDENLY SUSAN--"Hoop Dreams"--B.A. is undercover at the station as Arnie.
October 1996--MARTIN--"Boo's in the House"--B.A. is undercover as Mr. Jenkins.
May 1997--SUDDENLY SUSAN--"I'll See That and Raise You Susan"--Mr. T appears, bringing this show in.
July 24, 1999--THE HOWARD STERN RADIO SHOW--Mr. T is a guest.
November 1999--MALCOLM & EDDIE--"The Wrongest Yard"--B.A. is undercover as Calvin.
May 19, 2001--THE HOWARD STERN RADIO SHOW--Mr. T complains that advertisers are using his image without his permission. (They are using footage of his fight with Rocky Balboa when Rocky one back the title.)
2001--NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE--B.A. is undercover as a janitor at John Hughes High, which is likely in Shermer, IL.
November 19, 2001--WWF RAW--Hopefully he wasn't wrestling, but this was an era when many senior citizens were still wrestling.
May 2002 to March 2004--PRAISE THE LORD--Real World: Mr. T has always been spritual, but now has become a born again Christian. TVCU: B.A. in 1972 in prison became a Muslim and swore off violence, but then learned that sometimes violence is just. He continued to have Christian values (dumping the Muslim faith and returning to the values his mother taught him). But now he has become a born again Christian.
October 2002--HOUSE OF MOUSE--"House Ghosts"--Mr. T is transported to the Looniverse where he visits the club called the House of Mouse. Also appearing are Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Chernabog (FANTASIA), Pete (GOOF TROOP), Ed the Hyena (LION KING), Goofy, Pluto, Panic (HERCULES), Pain (HERCULES), Magic Mirror (SNOW WHITE), Daisy Duck, Mike (original character in this show), Pummba (LION KING), Timon (LION KING), and Minnie Mouse.
2003--CELEBRITY DEATHMATCH (VIDEO GAME)--Note that though Mr. T competes, it's likely not really him. Celebrities fight to the death, and then are seen again. I believe that scientist/wrestler Steve Austin clones celebrities to fight. (Though sometimes the real celebrities appear, such as when Austin brought the Three Stooges forward in time to fight the Three Tenors.)
June to September 2003--JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE--Mr. T co-hosts.
June 3, 2003--DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART--Mr. T appears. Note that in the TVCU, the Daily Show and Colbert Report are real news programs. Appearances by Mr. T, Father Guido Sarducci, and the Cookie Monster cement that. In our real world, the people on the show are comedians playing characters that just happen to share the same name as the actors. Stephen Colbert the comedian is a lot different in real life than the character Stephen Colbert. Thus, I accept these shows as being in, whereas shows like Conan and Jimmy Kimmel are not in, except for the rare times when fictional people appear on their show.
September 14 ,2003--LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN: 10TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL--Mr. T is amongst the guests.
November 10, 2003--DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART--Mr. T must have forgotten something and had to go back to get it.
January 26, 2004--ON-AIR WITH RYAN SEACREST--Mr. T appears.
2004--THE NICK & JESSICA VARIETY HOUR--The couple that was doomed once their ratings dropped go old school with a classic style variety show, with celebrity guests like Kermit the Frog and Mr. T.
July 2004--JOHNNY BRAVO--"T is for Trouble"--Mr. T is pulled again into the Looniverse, where he meets Johnny Brave. I feel that some of these trips are astral, meaning that the soul leaves the body while they are sleeping and travels to the Looniverse. That would explain how people seem to visit the Looniverse without going into shock, and how they return as if nothing had happened. To them it was just a dream.
October 2004--GILMORE GIRLS--"Tippecanoe and Taylor, Too"--The GAH theme song is played by a band at a political inauguration. Probably unrelated to Ralph Hinkley but mentioned for attempt at completeness.
November 18, 2004--JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE--Mr. T appears. Mr. T is a cover identity for B.A. Barracus. At this time, he know longer needs the cover to hide from the law, but still needs it as a cover as he works for the government.
November 2004--EXTREME MAKOVER: HOME EDITION--"The Burns Family"--Mr. T helps give a family a makeover. Mohawks and gold chains for everybody.
March 2005--THE CONTENDER--"Rivals"--Mr. T appears on the boxing reality show. He was once world champion after all.
2005--2005 TAURUS WORLD STUNT AWARDS--Mr. T appears.
August 2005 to January 2008--LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN--Mr. T makes several appearances.
2006--HULK HOGAN: THE ULTIMATE ANTHOLOGY--Mr. T gives commentary.
2006--BRING BACK...THE A-TEAM--A documentary filmmaker attempts to get the now disbanded team to reform, though sadly without Hannibal, who has passed away.
October 24, 2006--LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON--Mr. T appears.
October 2006--HOWARD STERN ON DEMAND--Mr. T comes to talk about what he's been up to and to motivate Beetlejuice (the Stern regular, not the ghost.)
2006--I PITY THE FOOL--Mr. T becomes a motivational guru.
October 3, 2006--ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT--Mr. T appears.
2007--2007 TAURUS WORLD STUNT AWARDS--Mr. T appears.
2007--GUYS CHOICE--Mr. T appears.
May 2007--MY NAME IS EARL--"The Trial"--B.A. appears posing as a Mr. T impersonator.
September 2007--ROBOT CHICKEN--"Yancy the Yo-Yo Boy"--This is the second time I've placed a Robot Chicken sketch in the TVCU. A nerdy boy gets a super suit from aliens but knocks himself unconscious when he attempts to fly. Bill Maxwell, who was contacted by the aliens, finds the unconscious boy and takes him along and uses him as a human shield. He then drops him back home and the aliens take the suit back, thus leaving the boy naked lying outside. He awakes to find himself exposed to onlooking girls.
2008--BEHIND THE TAURUS--Documentary that includes Mr. T's involvement in the awards shows.
March 2008--BIG BANG THEORY--"The Cooper-Hofstadter Polarization"--Yes, this is a weak one, and you can feel free to ignore it if you wish. Simply, a nerd is wearing a red shirt with the super suit symbol. Now, I have the same shirt, so not really a crossover. But based on the celebrity that led to Ralph losing the suit, it certainly could have led to merchandising.
November 21, 2008--ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT--Mr. T appears.
February 26, 2009--THE ONE SHOW--Mr. T appears.
September 24, 2009--THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH CONAN O'BRIEN--Mr. T appears.
October 13, 2010--THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW--Mr. T appears.
October 14, 2010--LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN--Mr. T appears.
Sometime in a Future that diverges off the main timeline--JUDGEMENT--B.A. is undercover as J.T. Quincy in this story that involves the Devil himself.
ALTERNATE REALITIES:
BONGO UNIVESE--Both the A-Team and the Greatest American Hero are favorite shows of Peter Griffin. Mr. T, who is just the actor who played B.A., is set to appear on Krusty's televised Bar Mistvah, but Krusty chooses instead to do a private ceremony.
EARTH-PRIME--Face is temporarily transported to Earth-Prime with a magical remote control on AMAZING STORIES.
ROBOT CHICKEN UNIVERSE--The A-Team appear, but I don't know enough about it. Mr. T also appears twice, though I'm not sure what happens.
SKITLANDIA--The B-Team appears on THE BENNY HILL SHOW.
So to wrap up, yeah, Mr. T's celebrity while he's wanted is a stretch. Nothing as realistic as one of the most famous people in the world hiding behind a pair of glasses while working for the top newspaper in the world, with his picture next to his byline.
Also, I want to thank Google for giving me $100 in free advertising and to TopCollegesOnline.com for thinking my site worthy of helping to advertise your site. I think it says something about my work when people think the popularity of my site can help theirs.

Cool post, Robert. Just a couple notes.
ReplyDelete1) The Blues Brothers also have a link through the Masters of Horror episode "Deer Woman" directed by John Landis. A character mentions Murph and the Magictones are playing, a fictional band from the first movie. There's also a reference to a werewolf sighting at Piccadilly Circus in 1981, a clear reference to An American Werewolf in London. So that episode is connected to two of Landis' films.
2)The character in the top center of the LoEG: America 1988 picture is Frank Serpico, the real life cop played by Al Pacino in the movie Serpico. Also, I'm afraid you have the wrong Lee Majors character: as the inscription says, it's Steve Austin of The Six Million Dollar Man fame, not Colt Seavers.
I'm not sold on the idea of every appearance by Mr. T being B.A. in disguise, but I do realize that The A-Team has very little in the way of crossover material to work with. It's one of my favorite shows, though, so I'm glad you figured out a way to include it.
ReplyDeleteGoing back and checking the relevant posts, I see you already noted that Hulk Hogan was in Muppets From Space working for COVENET as an MiB. This makes me wonder if there's a connection here to The X-Files, which I understand had an episode - Wikipedia tells me it was "Jose Chung's From Outer Space" - in which the Syndicate also uses agents that resemble, or are, celebrities, presumably to make the stories that much more unbelievable.
Finally, I'm glad you mentioned the LoEG cover, as I had completely forgotten about it, and it definitely needs to go on the Back to the Future timeline I'm compiling. So thanks for that.
Reply to Sean:
ReplyDelete1) Thanks. There are now enough crossovers for the Blues Brothers to get their on blog.
2) That's for the correction and filling in the blank.
Reply to T. Everett: I don't always expect everyone to buy all of my inclusions. I always say, take what you like and leave the rest behind. Even if you don't like the talk show appearances and such, some things like T. and T. certainly could work for conflation much more easily, as well as any appearance where he played basically the same character, but with little background offered, like in the Blues Brothers or Not Another Teen Movie, for instance, in which his appearance likely meant the A-Team was a on a case in the area.
Don't forget in the Josie and the Pussycats films, that a similar conspiracy to control the minds of the youth of America involved using Carson Daley, Mr. Movie Phone, Behind the Music, and MTV News to aid in their plans.
Going off on a tangent from 'GAH', I link that show to 'Gilligan's Island' in Toobworld with the Professor (Roy Hinkley) being Ralph's long-missing Dad.......
ReplyDeleteYeah, I read that. Your site is the second place I go to for research (the first being Win's Books). I'm not into the same name game, usually, but for Toobworld, that connection totally makes sense. I was curious that you didn't make any connection between Robert Culp's characters in I Spy and GAH. When Ivan pointed out to me his theory on that, it made a lot of sense from a Toobworld perspective, I was surprised you hadn't thought of it. (Or maybe I just missed it on your site.)
ReplyDeleteHey Robert,
ReplyDeleteThere's another A-Team/Greatest American Hero connection. In issue 1 of the Marvel A-Team comic B.A. runs into an old friend Mario Ronda. Ronda is revealed to be an FBI agent. His partner is Bill Maxwell.
